Top Hairstyles for Fall

The leaves are changing and so are the hairstyles. Here we take a look at some of the top trends for the fall season and how you can easily make them your own.

Long, layers

Want to change things up for fall, but don’t want to go for a full-on chop? Ask your stylist to softly razor in some long layers and angle shorter pieces around your face. While this versatile cut gives you plenty of options for day-to-day styling, our go-to is smooth and straight. Try applying some Verb Ghost Oil to your ends and work towards the root for a frizz-free and fall-ready look. Take a look at the long layer styles from stylists using Verb below:

LOBs

The long bob is here to stay, and for good reason. This trendy, but shorter cut also benefits from some face-framing pieces that highlight your beautiful bone-structure. The best part? This style can be so versatile from curling to no heat styling necessary. Just use Verb Sea Spray and Sea Texture Cream for a delightfully tousled ‘do. Check out some of our favorites from stylists using Verb below. Shoutout to the talented @evanstowers and @emi_zehr_do because we loved so many styles we had to share a few from these two.

Bangs, bangs, bangs

Bangs come in all shapes and sizes - sleek bangs, short bangs, sideswept bangs... the list goes on. It's also one of the quickest and yet most dramatic changes you can make to give your whole look a fresh start. Fashion week this year (and Taylor Swift's new do) brought with it some fun and unexpected trends—including models rocking both curls AND bangs. Get the look by applying some Verb Curl Cream to damp hair for a shapely and buoyant style. Help style sleek bangs with Verb Ghost Prep and blow dry. Also if you decide to get bangs, dry shampoo will be your new bff.

Long locks

Did you ever watch The Little Mermaid and think: #hairgoals. Well, long flowing hair is in and we’re here for it. You can go full mermaid with long beachy waves using Verb Sea Spray, or go super-straight for a more sleek look. Just make sure you’re using a heat protectant, like Verb Ghost Prep, before you reach for the flat iron. We put this category last because we know it's a bit harder to work towards long hair. Make sure you're keeping hair as healthy as possible with things like Verb Hydrating Mask and using dry shampoo and dry conditioner to extend days between washes.

Ah, fall. It’s the perfect time to throw on your favorite sweater, grab a hot coffee and head to your stylist for a new fall look that speaks to you.
