What's Trending: Autumn Hair Styles

Now that it’s fall we’re excited to use the change of temperature as a great reason to change up our look too - new sweaters, boots and of course adding new ways to style our hair. So what better way to get inspo than to look at what happened during NYFW? Fresh off the runway, see what kinds of hairstyles Fashion Week 2018 brought into the spotlight.

Slicked Back

This slicked back hairstyle sported by Badgley Mischka and Proenza Schouler was very popular this season. Whether you want all of your hair swept back out of your face or want to look like you just got out of the shower, this slicked back look is easy to do yourself.

Grab some Ghost Oil to tame frizz, and use Strong Hairspray to slick back the front. Still not sure how to achieve the look? Watch this youtube tutorial from Verb stylist Kayo!

Buns

Love us some good buns. We know there’s nothing particularly new about buns but we love these chic takes on the top bun. From Adeam to Emporio Armani to Fendi, the bun was another popular hairstyle this fashion week. Whether messy or slicked back, a bun is an easy hairstyle to pull off as an everyday look.

Dry Shampoo Light or Dark before styling, whip up your favorite bun and after securing use Ghost Dry Oil to weightlessly tame frizz, add shine and go on with your lazy chic self.

Hair Accessories

Bad hair day? Etro, Erika Cavallini, Kate Spade, and Marco De Vincenzo have got you covered (literally) by covering up your hair with a scarf or other hair accessories. Pulling a scarf over your hair, makes an instantly chic look, and adding clips or a leather wrap to your hair can spice up any look!

We’d recommend browsing etsy or pinterest for some more inspo on this one. But it’s shch a great way to make any style look that much better. Don’t have any accessories laying around? You can use multiple barrettes or bobby pins to create a fun look or pattern in your hair.

We love this inspo below from hairstylist, Hailey Adickes - check out her instagram here! She uses Verb and her feed will help you with your #hairstylegoals for fall.
