Benefits of Moringa Oil for Your Hair
As you put Verb Ghost Oil in your hair you may be wondering “what makes this so good?” We're here today to talk about the not-so-secret ingredient that makes Ghost Oil a bestseller for a reason: moringa oil. Moringa oil comes from the seeds of the Moringa Oleifera tree, also referred to as the "Miracle tree", and it’s full of phytonutrients and behenic acid. It so happens that we loved the benefits of this ingredient so much we decided to infuse our entire Ghost Collection with it. Before we get down to the benefits for your hair you might be wondering...
What exactly is Moringa Oil?
Moringa oil is derived from the seeds of a the Moringa oleifera tree native to India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The tree is also known as the drumstick tree or the "Miracle Tree". Moringa oil is typically acquired through a cold-pressing process that allows the access of the rich source of nutrients in the seeds. The nutrients include vitamin C, vitamin B, and different types of monounsaturated fats like oleic acid & behenic acid.
Cool so now that you've gotten your fair share of #knowledge for the day now let's look at why we chose to infuse our Ghost Collection with moringa oil.
1. It strengthens your hair
Thats right! Not only does it make your hair look more shiny but it actually makes it stronger too. Moringa oil protects your hair from heat, the environment, and neutralizes negative effects with its high amount of proteins. Bonus: the rich supply of fatty acids can improve the shine and luster of your hair as well.
2. Moisturizes scalp
Moringa oil delivers moisture straight to your hair- and scalp! The antioxidants in the oil are able to help protect the scalp and keep it moisturized. After using Ghost Shampoo & Conditioner or rubbing ghost oil into your hair, the moringa oil inside delivers rejuvenating vitamins and minerals straight to your hair and scalp, keeping them hydrated.
3. Fights split ends
The healing properties of Moringa oil and all those vitamins make it ideal for hair care and battling split ends. You’ve been using heat on your hair for days straight? Have no fear, ghost oil is here to help heal all those damaged ends.
4. Promotes hair growth
Because of the high contents of Vitamin A, zinc, Vitamin E, B vitamins and silica, Moringa Oil is known to promote natural and healthy hair growth! This makes ghost oil perfect to use after you accidentally cut off one too many inches of your hair (it happens to the best of us).
Bonus: The oil is clear
For all of the reasons above we chose Moringa Oil but one of the best benefits of Moringa (over other just as beneficial oils) is that the moringa seed creates a clear oil. That was important to us as not to tint any hair colors. Many hair oils you find will have a slight tint to them and we wanted to ensure that our oil didn't affect that hair color you've been working on and paid so much $$$ for!
